Last Thursday RAMM reopened with all its shiny new bits as well as the old favorites
Great evening at the Staff opening Champagne and Pies made by Dartmoor KItchens who have taken on the cafe franchise - Yummy! Music by Show of Hands
It really is worth a visit - might take more than one though to see everything !
Next year sometime there will be a display in the museum of the pottery I helped families and Children make at West Exe Childrens Centre in the style of the Harvest Jugs - just out of the kiln !

Walking
I am in training for going up a Mountain in Borneo in the New Year, so walking Bertie the dog is now part of the daily routine, but he got a longer walk at Yarner than normal as I lost my glasses part way round ( Luckily after retracing our steps I found them !)
This is Bertie at the start of the walk !

Printmaking Course
The last two days I have been taking part in a Printmaking Course at the Red Earth Gallery in Bickleigh, run by Catherine Cartwright and Simon Ripley of the Double Elephant - It was great fun and I learnt a lot , having tried out Monoprints, Collographs, Drypoint , adding Intaglio and Chine Colle - all those mysterious terms that actually mean something to me now!

Silk Courses
This years last couple of workshops are Saturday 3 and Saturday 10 December, just time to make those few special Christmas Presents - I now have some spectacle cases and more Chiffon Scarves as well as the usual, ties, cushion covers and Hankies.
Then we go to The New Year - juts bought my new Diary so the first couple of Date are Saturday 21 and Saturday 28 January
Then looking at Half Term in February for the Next Family Workshop - the plan at the moment being to put that on in the Cricket Pavilion! Sounds like Fun!
