There is the opportunity to try a new techniques of Sun Printing - we can even do it without any sunshine  !! 

Next Family workshop

With lots of children and  families taking part we made two great banners at the Contemporary Craft Fair yesterday , my next drop in Silk Banner making workshop is Saturday 14 July at Chudfest in Chudleigh between 10 - 12 in the Marquee
There will be a bookable workshop  on Tuesday 17 July also in the Marquee in Chudleigh between 2 - 4pm so come and have a go on the Saturday and then book up for the Tuesday !

I will be running the Devon Artists Network Family Art  workshop in the Children's Tent at the Contemporary Craft Fair in Bovey Tracey on Sunday June 17 . 10 am - 5pm

Children's Tent at Craft Fair

This is the Contemporary Craft Fair weekend of fun for the Children 
Isabella Whitworth is taking her 'Fleece First' workshop to the Children's tent so they can create their own mini weaving! Sponsored by Devon Artists Network and Devon County Council 

Appledore Visual Arts Festival SHOAL

Devon Artists Network supported workshop during the Appledore Visual Arts Festival takes place on Saturday 9 June 11- 5 near slipway on the Quay SHOAL with artist Karen Hawkins
to celebrate the fishing industry and marine life, you can help make an installation of underwater fish, visible under the sea as the tide submerges the work. As more people get involved the installation will grow to for a 'shoal' an impressive sight in any ocean. 

Simon Print workshop

The Jubilee Celebrations in Ivybridge carried on in a new location of the Watermark because of the bad weather , Simon had a busy time with his Print workshop and much fun was had by lots of  families ! 
His next workshop for Devon Artist Network is on Wednesday 15 August at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton - don't miss it!
