Crediton Arts Festival

There is an opportunity for an Artists to run a Family Art workshop on 1 June in Crediton as part of the Arts Festival that starts on 1 June and runs until 13 July. 

The theme is to create something innovative and exciting with families to celebrate the Arts Festival.

Artists should hold a current CRB check. The fee for the workshop is £300 including  £50 for materials

After a hard day of sewing and cutting Jeanette and I finished this wonderful flag - isn't it fabulous ! A really big 'Thank you'  to Jeanette for all her hard work - Jim from Four Seasons was so impressed - one very happy man!

Dear Bridget

Thank you so much for a truly wonderful day. I felt a mixture of excitement and anxiety at the beginning of the day, but this soon dispersed and I became totally absorbed in the silk painting. Everyone's painting was so different and we were all delighted with our finished painting. I thought you were a great teacher and inspired us all with confidence. The lunch was delicious too!

So... thank you! I hope to come again

Another brill day making flags with Charlotte, we got loads done thanks to our fabulous helpers , Eileen and Chris and so many other businesses and community groups signing up for their own

A freezing cold day in Crediton , but a lovely lad from Gee's Electrics helped us out with a ladder to try hanging the flags to see what they look like outside - less wind and more sunshine would have been good ! However they are looking good don't you think?
