After a couple of busy workshops learning some new techniques and everyone working really hard to achieve amazing things , there is a bit of a break for Shadow Screen workshops then the next dates  for Silk Painting workshops are :-

New Design Flag

I visited Julia Vella's Lovely Open Studio this morning Number 88 in Highweek ,Newton Abbot open for 2 more days She inspired me so much I came home and made a new flag in her style but with a few embellishments , such a  fun flag to make ! I Love it for its simplicity!

Tin Shed in the Herald Express

Mei Lim's Tin Shed is now famous (or Infamous?) There is an article in the Herald Express Property section about her wonderful creation, you may even spot a small flag in the pictures !

The Edge Sculpture Trail at Heathercombe, Manaton is on until Sunday 29 September , closed on Mondays otherwise 11- 5.30 Daily. 

There are also small hand held festive flags for  sale in the Gallery by the Tea rooms.

There is now a collection of my 'Festive Flags' for sale at Mei's fabulous new studio as part of Devon Open Studios , Venue 103 open every day 11-6. It is well worth a visit just to see the venue and then the added bonus of inspiring art as well!

We went to visit Lily in Mary Sumner's House and Studio that is open during the Devon Open Studios 
Wow , you have to go and visit, the whole place is amazing, buzzing with colour and vibrancy with the  3 Artists, Rachel Sumner is there as well, who all work with Colour so well. It is an experience not to be missed !

I just made a flag to celebrate Mei Lim finishing her 'Tin Shed' in time for the Devon Open Studios Venue 103 in Shaldon - a must if you are on the Open Studios Trail ! See it there from Tomorrow 7 September

'The Edge' Heathercombe

Heathercombe is looking wonderful , it is  great to be back exhibiting there after a year out last year. This is my first showing of the range of Butterfly Flags that I have been making and others The Edge Sculpture Exhibition is open from 7- 29 September 11- 5.30 Daily ( closed Mondays)

The Flag Workshop at St Thomas was really busy, 11 flags got made which will go up the week before the Festival on September 14, so look out for them in Cowick street  Exeter
