Large Silk Flags

The day at Yarner Wood went really well with lots of families coming to enjoy the event, the weather was fabulous and everyone worked hard and created a couple of colourful group Flags to help celebrate the 60 years of being a nature reserve for Natural England 

There was another flag started which will need finishing off at some point 

Springwatch Event at Yarner Wood

The Springwatch event starts at11am and runs until 5pm

Cockington Promotion

June is the month at Cockington for a Bridget Arnold Showcase of Smoke fired Ceramics in The Devon Guild Shop at The Sea Change Centre at Cockington Court. 
If you haven't visited the centre before , this must be the month to go ! 

 There will be a whole range of work there from small hangings, like the above image, to Spheres  candle spheres and Candle Pods - lots of them are in the  turquoise range. 

RAMM exhibition

There is an exhibition in the Cafe in RAMM of the lovely tiles and jugs  made with the children at the West Exe children's centre before Christmas - all done in the style of Harvest Jugs 

It is on until the end of May, if you want to see it !

Yarner Wood Open Day

On Saturday 26 May there is another Spring Open Day in the Wood 
I will be making giant Silk Banners in the Woodland Centre - This is a Free drop in event with lots more happening as well !

Next Silk Courses

The next courses are this Saturday 12 May at my studio then 19 May at Yarner woodland centre 
As its May the sun should come out and there will be the opportunity to do some sun printig techniques
