DAN has fortunately got some funding this year from the Elm Grant Trust and Devon County Council to run more Free Family Art Workshops. The funding enabled us to put Bridget Arnold in post to organise these events for us.
The Brief for the workshop leaders will be found on the web site. The actual events and dates are just being finalised.
There will be five workshops run the first at The Northcott Open Weekend on May 6; Ivybridge June 5 as part of the Queens Diamond Jubilee Celebrations, Appledore Art Fest in June ( between 7-10 June)with a theme of ‘Landmarks’, Hatherleigh Arts Festival 28th July , with a theme of ‘Round and Round the Garden’, and the Thelma Hulbert in Honiton on either Wednesday 15 or 22 August with a theme of ‘Equality and Endeavour’ as part of their Open Exhibition which aims to tie into the Olympics.
